Museum of Liverpool
In June 2011 Barclays announced a new annual partnership with the Museum of Liverpool.
The Museum of Liverpool is the largest newly-built national museum in the UK and an iconic new landmark building on the Liverpool waterfront. This new partnership signifies our commitment to the local community and visitors to the region through arts and culture and we are the first organisation to sponsor an exhibition in the new museum. The exhibition "East Meets West: The Story of Shanghai and Liverpool" explores the fascinating relationship between Liverpool and Shanghai, within the Global City Gallery, one of the first galleries to open.
The exhibition opened on 19 July 2011 and will run until 2013.
