Our 24/7 international Telephone and Online Banking services help you manage your money in different currencies and time zones, whenever it suits you.1

This service offers secure access to your account online, on your smart phone or by phone, 24/7. So it’s easy to check your balance, view statements, carry out transactions and contact us about your account, whether you’re at home, at work or out and about.

Your unique membership number and pass code gives you a secure way of carrying out much of your day-to-day banking when you need to.

24/7 telephone and online banking
Check your account balances and latest transactions online or by speaking to a member of our service team at any time of the day or night. Additional services for members include:

  • Make international and UK payments up to £50,000 (or currency equivalent) per day
  • Save up to £15 when making international payments
  • Set up, amend or cancel regular payments (standing orders)
  • Transfer money between accounts
  • Amend your contact details

Mobile banking
Our mobile banking service is designed for smart phones and tablet devices such as iPads®. Use it to check your balance, transfer money between accounts, make payments and send us secure messages.


Secure messaging
Communicate with us directly about your account. In effect, this is a secure version of email, and you can now use it to send us important documents too. Secure messaging offers speed and convenience as it can save you having to visit a branch or send items through the post.


SMS text services
If a new payment is set up on your account, we can send you a text to validate the payment. We can also text you a security code to enable you to change your log-in details for online banking.


Online statements
If you have a sterling account, you can opt for online statements instead of paper ones. With accounts in other currencies, you will receive both. Online statements remain on our system, so you can download them within Online Banking whenever you need to.

How to apply

If you are not currently a Barclays international banking client, you will need to deposit and maintain a minimum balance of £5,000 or more (or currency equivalent) in cash or investments across the accounts you hold you with us.
